I have been enjoying this KJV Ryrie Study Bible for a while. However, today I found a typo in this Bible. In Isaiah 58:8, the last word should be "rereward" (= rearward), NOT "reward" (according to my cambridge KJV and other KJV Bibles from other publishers). Other than the typo, this is a good KJV study Bible on the market.
Like the Ryrie study and this one was for my husband. He was disappointed as well as I that the cover wasn't solid blue like his last one. This cover looks more like a book than a Bible. Why did they change something that wasn't broke
The Ryrie Study Bible has helped me to understand some passages that were difficult before. There are plenty of footnotes and maps to help understand content and context. The concordance is also very helpful. It is an all around excellent source for serious Bible study.
I became familiar with the Ryrie Study Bibles in 1986 with my first NASB purchase. I have worn it out and now I have the KJV as my third. The Ryrie Bibles provide great, thought provoking commentary on some difficult subjects. I recommend the Bible to anyone.
