After a slight fiasco that I'm still trying to wrap my head around I finally got this bible.
With that said if you are looking for easy on the eye's print this one has it along with that it has a classy look the gold edges of the pages are more of a gilding than a muted or stained gold color each of the index points contains 3 books I decided on black so my ribbon marker is black.
There are 8 maps and everything in the description is correct there are pages for birth and death records and one for things to remember.I don't think there's much more I'd want in a Bible.
And your not going to beat the price by much from anywhere else in fact you'd be paying more.
For around 9 years now this has been my go to Bible so much so that I've two of them both are the imitation black leather as of this date I just opened up the second one their quite easy on the eyes for extended periods of reading the words of Christ in red are well printed and stand out bold at least the two I have are real red and not pinkish in color in my opinion the paper is thick enough also that there is very limited bleed through which is a help with any Bible.
With time expect some wear on the edges of the cover and the price here on Christian books is considerably better than shelf price elsewhere these are ideal for a gift to someone who loves the Bible but finds it hard on the eyes with other bibles.
Since I own them I have modified mine by gluing in 3/8 wide ribbon markers
