In a world where font sizes keep decreasing (iPhone, Tablets, Kindles, et al.) it's nice to have the font size larger to meet the demands of aging eyeballs. I would have gotten an even larger font (20 would be nice), but didn't see anything out there. And what is probably the most amusing? 20 years ago I would have laughed at this post, but today, not so much. It's a nice Bible and I would get it again. I'd give it five stars if it had reference information throughout, which I think every Bible should have. I went ahead and bought Nelson's Illustrated Encyclopedia of Bible Facts and use that to get my reference stuff so it all works out and perhaps even for the better. :-)
I purchased this Bible because I wanted something with a larger font that these tired old eyes could read. Well the good news is, the font size (14pt) is GREAT! You should have no problem reading this bible! Another thing that's not mentioned in the description is that the thumb index is two different colors, black for the old testament and red for the new testament. That makes finding something a LOT faster, it's funny they don't mention that though because it's a great feature to have. I gave this bible a 4 1/2 stars rating because I wished the Concordance was a bit better / bigger, it's not quite as complete as some I have seen. If you can live with that one short coming then I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this bible.Oh and for the price it's well worth it. In addition, I'm thinking about picking up this bible: CBD Stock No: WW920736 for my study bible and when and if I do, I'll write a review on it as well. In the mean time, if anyone else has that bible I would really appreciate some feedback on the text size in regards to readability. Thanks Much!
