I bought this red one ( date inside is 1989 ) and the buttercream color ( Date is 2010 inside ). Both identical except that the one is KJV and the other is NKJV. I am wondering why the KJV costs less. ? Maybe cause of the 1989 date? Who cares about the date? I don't. I love both versions! I am partial to the NKJV and the ESV though. I do recommended this Bible...has many many references-which I really like, and the words of Christ in red too. Short concordance in back. Short book introductions. Both are to be expected in a small Bible of this size. Great for carrying anywhere! Only about 1" thick too.
Physically it is a beautiful Bible. More important, along with cross-references you get special type to let you know when a New Testament verse is quoting an Old Testament one, plus alternate translations for words that could have been legitimately translated two different ways, and some other valuable information.
