KJVer Version is a sensitively revised King James Version in which archaic words have been simplified to make God's Word more understandable.
Difficult Term Definitions
Archaic and difficult words are underlined and defined at the end of the verse by using the proper Hebrew text in the Old Testament and the proper Greek text in the New Testament. These words will often open up the meaning of a word or verse that often has been otherwise not understood or misunderstood.
Special Margin Study Guide
The Sword Bibles have a unique, easy–to–use margin study guide with over 90 topics from which to choose. This margin study guide allows readers to go from cover–to–cover using the pure Word of God as their study.
There are many other study helps including: a dictionary concordance, maps, earthquake charts, flood information, the chronology of the Bible (by Dr. Floyd Jones), Bible and Science (by Dr. Henry Morris), guide to the laws of the Bible, Jewish calendar, a survey of Daniel's 70 weeks, land and people of the Bible, the time of the patriarchs, judges and kings, and more.
Red–Letter Old and New Testament
A feature that is unique to our Bibles is a Red–Letter Old Testament as well as a Red–Letter New Testament. In the Old Testament, the red lettering indicates the direct words of God. In the New Testament, the red lettering indicates the words of Christ.
Reading Grade Level
The KJVER version was rated on the Flesch–Kincaid Grade Level Indicator test at the 4th Grade level.
The Received Text
Another primary difference between the KJV Easy Reading and other versions on the market is that it follows the Received Text. The Received Text is what the church fathers have used for nearly 400 years. The Easy Reading follows the King James text almost word for word, merely updating language. Among the many reasons for this is that it allows one who has learned English as a second language to have an understanding of the scriptures without "thees" and "thous". Please note this has all been done without changing one word of doctrine or touching deity.
Great cutting-edge study notes from:
- Dr. Floyd Jones
- Dr. Henry Morris, ICR
- Dr. Carl Baugh, CEM
- Ray Comfort, Living Waters
- Rev. Charles Childers
- And much, much, more...
- Red Letter Old and New Testaments
- 1611 KJV with outdated words replaced with the modern equivalents to read as we speak today. "Thou shalt" is now "You shall"

Pastor MarkNorthern WisconsinAge: 55-65Gender: male4 Stars Out Of 5First impressions of this BibleJuly 25, 2014Pastor MarkNorthern WisconsinAge: 55-65Gender: maleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 4The KJVER appears to be a careful update of the KJV text as advertised. A list of changed words appears in the front of the Bible, which I have examined. Thus far I have not found any doctrinal problems raised by the word changes, but I will be doing a more thorough check throughout the next six months or so. Modernized spellings, updated verb usage, capitalized personal pronouns referring to the deity, and alternate renderings of other possibly difficult words at the end of many verses are observable, as well as a number of cross references. My reason for a four-star rating rather than a five-star is that the helps section in the rear of the Bible contains a rather biased article on the premillennial view, rather than the millennial article found in the helps of the regular "KJV Word of God Sword Bible" which simply presented three views on the subject without taking sides. Frankly, in my opinion, the KJVER Sword Bible could retain its handy size and be more suitable to all Christians if it would include in its helps section nothing but the maps and a much more substantial dictionary/concordance (like the one in the regular KJV Word of God Sword Bible).

ltrtcIdaho, IDAge: 35-44Gender: female4 Stars Out Of 5I am very happy with this bibleApril 29, 2014ltrtcIdaho, IDAge: 35-44Gender: femaleQuality: 4Value: 4Meets Expectations: 4I purchased this bible for my 19 year old son. I love that the words of God in the old testament are in red. That's a feature I will be looking for in my next personal bible. This bible has wonderful study features and although it took us a little bit to understand the margin study guide it is helpful. The underlining of difficult terms is somewhat distracting and will take some getting used to, but otherwise I am very pleased with this purchase and would recommend it to friends and family.
PattyRichmond, ilAge: 55-65Gender: female4 Stars Out Of 5great ideaJanuary 16, 2014PattyRichmond, ilAge: 55-65Gender: femaleQuality: 4Value: 4Meets Expectations: 4True to the KJV DOCTRINE ,modern words for an easy flow of language when reading out loud . I would not replace my KJV but this is a nice compliment to it. No missing verses or doctrine like other new versions, it stays true to the T.R. It does however have the wrong tense of a verb here and there , such as " and Jesus SAYS to them" when it should read Jesus SAID to them.
I have gotten this bible for family members also and they like it.
Hope one day the editor refines it.

Q: Font size and format, any difference between the 2010 and 2012? I really enjoy using this Bible, the word changes are so slight and do not alter the meaning of the scripture. The notes in the back are very helpful and informative. It is one of my favorites. I prefer the KJV over any other and the KJV ER is no exception, they have done a great job on simply updating the language slightly. I also appreciate the fact they list the 800 word changes (example: KJV =waketh and KJV ER=waits, KJV= diggith and KJV ER=digs. They use the KJV 1611 text, and in the OT the words of God are in red, in the NT Christ'a words are in red, another great feature. I highly recommend this Bible.I have the KJV ER personal size large print published by KingsWord Press/Whitaker House 2007. I also have the KJV ER by KingsWord Press/ G.E.M 2010 that is a slightly larger Bible, also large print, can you tell me which of this the 2012 edition is comparable as far as font size? Also is the lay out the same as these, and what is the difference between the 2010 and 2012 editions, any new features?
