About 25 years ago my husband and I purchased the whole KJV Bible on cassette tape with Alexander Scourby as the dramatist. I have listened to them over the years and only recently needed to purchase a new set. When I found I could purchase it on CD I was thrilled, especially with Alexander Scourby as the dramatist. I work at home and babysit my 4 young grandchildren often. I can't think of a better way to introduce them to the word of God than to have it being read to them out loud. You may think they aren't listening, but they are, you will know this when they begin asking questions about what is being said. The Bible on tape or CD is a wonderful thing to have, especially when you don't have time to sit and read, plus the hard names and words are pronounced properly for you. I highly recommend the KJV Bible on CD as you don't have to turn the them over or rewind.
I was told it would take 3 to 4 weeks for delivery, but I received them in one weeks time.

I am very pleased with the NT on CD. I find it difficult to sit and read the word but I can redeem driving time and even go to sleep hearing the word of gpd with this wonderful set. Mr.Scourby is amazing in his ability to properly punctuate and pronounce without mistakes!

Usage of the Audio Bible New Testament on CD has been an absolutely rewarding and refreshing experience. Normally, I listen to the Bible on cassette tape, but the sound quality appears to be even better on CD, and as we all know, Alexander Scourby is called by God to do this reading. Thank you so much, Christian Book.com for such an affordable price.

This an excellent narration. Emphasis is where it should be when it should be and how it should be.
It gives me a clearer picture, especially of the Gospels, of The Gospel as I hear it. I also feel blessed to hear the entire NT Word.
One problem though.
To put it on your player so you can hear the whole thing without having to change CDs is challenging for a couple of the discs. I had to hand-correct some of the automatically-displayed listings.
But that done, it is worth it, and I consider it irreplaceable!

It is fantastic to hear the New Testament. So that I could listen to the whole thing at once, I recorded all the CDs on my Windows Player. That was very difficult because although the reading of the Bible is excellent and plays perfectly, the programming of many of the CDs is very sloppy and must be corrected in your personal Library by hand.
If you don't want to put it in your Library, but play it one CD at a time, it's a full five stars - it still plays perfectly!
