A relatively good and affordable outreach Bible
June 2, 2013
A relatively good outreach Bible to give away. It's a New Testament without hymns, which is good, just the new one (either it is the New Testament, or not). But it lacks the title on the cover, the Bible. On almost no editions of the Bible with only the New Testament is it written that it is the Bible. Many non-christians do not understand the term New Testament. The best outreach Bible is the New Testament, but it should be written on the cover that it is the Bible. It may be written on the cover that it is the New Testament, but above that it must be written the Bible with larger letters. - The size of the text in most such Bibles to give away is too small and that can reduce the reader's tendency to read, too small text makes it just too difficult to read. This one is acceptable.
Well, but there is a problem. In the book is a doctrinal error, maybe small but ununderstandable: it says at the end of the book how to become a christian and that Christ is at your door, based on the revelation 3:20. Now revelation 3:20 is a part of the letter to believers in a church, it is not to the unbelievers. There are different views on this, but these words are obviously said to a church and its members and the context points to the same, that this is to believers. If you would exclude that text you would get a good and affordable outreach Bible.
