I am disappointed with this product. I do not like the way it is formated. The individual books of the Bible are arranged on the discs poorly. Some books begin on 1 disk with a single verse, and end on a third disc with a single verse. It is not user friendly if you want to listen to a specific book of the Bible. The over dubbing on the New Testament by Mr. Jones was also poorly done. The dubbing was much louder & extreamly obvious. It did not blend in with the surrounding text and was of poor quality. I expected a more professional product!

I first came across this in 2006. I listened to the KJV bible while commuting 1 hour each way to work every day for about 18 months. There is nothing like an audio bible for really helping to ground one in the LORD and His ways. I have purchased three more since to give as gifts and because I wore the first cds out. I can not say enough about how good James Earl Jones sounds doing the New Testament. He clearly had an anointing for the work. The bible should be read (or listened to) or both not just in whole chapters but in whole books at a time to get the context. Then put what you learn about walking with the LORD into practice consistently every day. An audio bible is a fantastic resource.

This product I thought was going to be great with both these men. The speaker in the Old Testament does a great job. Mr James Earl Jones does a horrible job in New Testament. There is no emotion in his voice. Also he changes words in verses. I do not believe he is even Reading from a King James Bible. Maybe a New King James but that is not God's Word. Anything other than KJV is a false bible. It is a book not a bible!! He actually puts me to sleep with his voice. I like his voice in movies but he does a terrible job and sorry I bought product.
