What a fabulous resource!! I wholeheartedly disagree with anyone who thinks this book is not a good value. You could spend several hundred dollars on a kindergarten curriculum, or $15 on Kindergarten Basics. Kim Karbo has packed a TON of information into this thin book (I am amazed each time I read it through), from a comprehensive list of skills your kindergartener should master, to ideas on organizing your homeschooling days. In addition to the ideas, activities, templates in the book, Karbo also provides lists of recommended books, and lots of links to free printable worksheets (and more).

It's *almost* enough to be overwhelming...yet you probably already own practically everything you will need. I highly recommend this book to anyone with preschool or kindergarten aged children!

this book has some good tips but nothing that you can't find for free online. It has 44 pages in a spiral bound, construction paper coverd book.

Over all, if you have a child this age, keep the learning fun.
