We tried the computerized typing programs but never seemed to make much progress. Then I read about this typing book written to help children with dyslexia. I handed this book to my 12 year old son and he was amazed at the difference. "Mom, why didn't we just do this to begin with? This makes so much more sense to me!" This book isn't laid out like other typing programs, it activates prior knowledge and uses a multi-sensory approach to teach typing. What a difference it's made in our house!

This program begins too slow for my daughter and I, but it is well written and well thought out. Great for the student who needs every little detail explained and reviewed, but too methodical in the beginning.
