The Camp Club Girls is a wonderful series for late elementary and middle school girls. Kate and the Wyoming Fossil Fiasco is well-written with interesting characters that the girls can relate to. As you read, you become part of the story and when you done, you feel like you've been with friends. I highly recommend it. I've used this book and others in the series in my sixth grade class and the girls just love them.

Fossil mystery This is another interesting story. Love how it starts with an accident that shows a fossil has been substituted with a fake made of sugar. This leads to Kate and McKenzie on a hunt to find who is stealing the fossils. They go to a fossil camp and have fun learning about fossils while trying to work out who could be switching the fossils. I do love how the girls work together and use bible verses to relate to the mysteries. They meet some interesting people at the camp and have alot of fun at the same time. I found it interesting that while they try to do right sometimes they do make the wrong choice and then have to decide do they tell the truth or cover up. I love how the authors show how sometime the girls can make mistakes and then what happens after and what they do about the choices. These are great books with great morals to them. They are also encouraging books parents can feel happy to have there children read knowing they will learn from the books and have safe stories. June 19, 2011

Unique With a Strong Moral Kate and the Wyoming Fossil Fiasco. Just the catchy title is enough for anyone to want to read this book. Although this book was not one of my favorites, itÃ¢ÂÂs all a matter of opinion. I didnÃ¢ÂÂt find it quite as interesting as other Camp Club Girls books, such and SydneyÃ¢ÂÂs D.C. Discovery, or KateÃ¢ÂÂs Vermont Venture. It was still an enjoyable read that I would definitely recommend, but not as highly as others. Someone is creating fake fossils out of brown sugar, and itÃ¢ÂÂs Kate and McKenzie, along with the other Camp Club Girls to find out who! Kate and the Wyoming Fossil Fiasco did have a wonderfully strong moral portrayed in it, which was: you should be who you are, and not pretend to be something that youÃ¢ÂÂre not.
