My 10 year old granddaughter watched the movie with me and she actually stayed awake. She loves anything with animals in it. I liked the movie because it truly was a family movie. There was nothing in it that made me cringe. The fact that there was a real bunny lady made it more appealling to my granddaughter. She told me, "I love this movie"

This movie deals with an emotionally disturbed young girl who is fostered and ultimately adopted by a faithful mother. The movie has some tough scenes at the beginning, but overall I found it to be pretty good. There was some inconsistency with the parenting of the girl and the biological son. The son is a bit spoiled whereas the girl is held accountable. But I don't tend to look towards movies about how to discipline my children. I would recommend it for children 8 and above. There are some sweet moments, and it was nice to think about how God can use animals to reach a child.

This was no nice Christmas movie. Children were shown as being cruel. The parents were ineffective. There was no correction or discipline. Wouldn't let my grandchildren watch this!
