After more than ten years of ongoing ministry and personal reflection, Bill Hybels addresses these concerns and signals the next era in personal evangelism with Just Walk Across the Room. Drawing on fresh perspectives from the his own experiences, as well as time-tested and practical illustrations, Just Walk Across the Room encourages and equips readers to routinely initiate spiritual conversations with those who don't know Christ. The author takes the guesswork out of evangelism by showing Christians how to "walk across the room", be intentional in their everyday contacts with people to reach seekers with the transformational message of Chris t. Hybels encourages readers to follow a simple, "Three-D" approach: Decide to Wonder, about people's needs, paths to fulfillment, and eternal destinies. Discover Their Story. . . then share your own before-and-after story, followed by God's redemptive story. Discern Next Steps. . . by relying on the Holy Spirit to help determine what the other person needs. Also features inspiring true stories that show the potent Three-D principles in action.

Emphasizing the leading of the Holy Spirit, Hybels invites you to step out of your Circle of Comfort and into encounters with people who long for someone to take an interest in themmen and women with stories to tell and hearts that yearn to experience Gods love reaching out to them through your smile, your encouragement, your transparency, your friendship. Ron4 Stars Out Of 5December 28, 2008RonThis book says what I have felt for a long time. I have been through canned evangelism programs, and they just didn't fit me. Building relationships gives us the right to share our faith. I thought the book was excellent, and would recommend it to anyone who struggles with sharing their faith.
