Come Home to Harmony ...
Thousands of readers have fallen in love with Harmony, the small town with the kindly spirit whose endearing and eccentric residents are like old friends. Join them for Sam Gardner's second year as pastor of his quirky flock.
Philip Gulley is a Quaker minister, writer, husband, and father. He is the bestselling author of Front Porch Tales, the acclaimed Harmony series, and is coauthor of If Grace Is True and If God Is Love. Gulley lives with his wife and two sons in Indiana, and is a frequent speaker at churches, colleges, and retreat centers across the country.
“Filled with humor and grace, this is a delightful homespun tale.”
“The master storyteller has done it again with his colorful, homespun characters from the small-town community of Harmony, Ind. ... Readers will want to keep this one at their bedside.”
“The master storyteller has done it again ... Readers will want to keep this one at their bedside.”
“...A real-life microcosm of mankind... No wonder he’s been called Indiana’s Garrison Keillor.”
Like Jan Karon, Gulley has a gift for understanding the hilarity and pathos of churches in small towns. A winner.
Barbara Vigil-cambron5 Stars Out Of 5May 13, 2009Barbara Vigil-cambronWe had listened to the first Harmony book on cassette and totally enjoyed it. I read this book out loud to my husband and daughter as we travelled to Las Vegas to see my son. It was just as wonderful as the first. One of our favorite parts of the stories are the life lessons at the end of the chapters. We look forward to ordering the next book for our long distance travel.
Roxanne5 Stars Out Of 5November 16, 2005RoxanneI just discovered this book at the library and couldn't put it down! What delightful, funny and touching stories, told in bite-size pieces. Philip Gulley is my new favorite author--I'm now on his 5th book in the last four weeks! My housework is now in serious trouble...
