So when Carl Joseph's teacher, Elle, begins championing his independence, she finds herself at odds with Cody. But even as these two battle it out, they can't deny the instinctive connection they share, and Cody faces a crisis of the heart.
What if Elle is the one woman who can teach Cody that love is still possible? If Cody can let go of his lingering anger, he might just see that sometimes the brightest hope of all lies JUST BEYOND THE CLOUDS.
"JUST BEYOND THE CLOUDS was amazing. It captured me in the first chapter and never let me go. . . . Karen writes about the sort of love we could all use a little more of."Richie McDonald, lead singer of Lonestar

The world has come a long way and it still has a long way to go. A very inspirational story line. Thanks again Karen Kingsbury you haven't let me down yet.
Cindy Welker5 Stars Out Of 5February 19, 2010Cindy WelkerI really enjoy Karen Kingsbury's writing. I cannot put it down. I learned so much about Down's Syndrome & how teachable they are if given the chance. I highly recommend this book. Also, it's unpredictable & suspenseful.
Paige5 Stars Out Of 5September 10, 2009PaigeOutstanding!!! I loved this story of pain and healing. I fell in love with Cody and Elle. A great story to learn from. You can learn from Carl Joseph and his unfailing faith. He doesn't question he accepts things for what they are. He is very happy and after you read about him it puts you in a good mood.
