Excellent! It followed the book very well and was so well done with the narration about the particular sights in Israel related to Jesus' birth and early childhood.

When I purchase a DVD teaching series, as a pastor, I know I'm often going to have to change some of the questions in the guide to meet the needs of my group. That was true for this series. There were a lot of good, thought-provoking questions that helped lead our group discussion, but I could have used more. Most of them felt very surface-level, and I wanted ones that would go deeper. That said, they were good overall (especially if your group had already read ahead in the book).

In terms of the DVD, while it was really great to see the Holy Land, the video moved very fast. There wasn't as much footage as I expected there to be. What Adam Hamilton said was helpful, but it was rather redundant if you'd already read the book. The video was mainly beneficial for visual purposes.
