I honestly did not know what I had bought and did not know if I would read any of the books much less the entire set.
So far so good. I'm looking forward to reading the second and third book.

This was probably one of the most spiritual fiction books I've read in a long time, the main theme revolving around trusting in God no matter how things appear. I love the way Maggie's mother instills that in her from the time she is young. Easy, relaxing read with a very descriptive setting!
Stephanie5 Stars Out Of 5February 19, 2010StephanieThis was definitely the best Christian fiction book I have ever read. I would recommend it for anyone to read, as well as the second book in the series, Restored Hearts. It was hard for me to put them both down. My husband even enjoyed them too.
Debby F.5 Stars Out Of 5May 9, 2009Debby F.I enjoyed reading this book very much, and looked forward to finding some reading time, as I was anxious to see what was going to happen next. I am grateful that I have the second book in the series so that I can begin that one now. I think Eileen has a real gift for encouraging others through her writing, and I for one, was blessed by reading her book.
Karen4 Stars Out Of 5March 28, 2009KarenI took this book with me on a plane ride to MO and got so engrossed in it that I hardly knew I was in the air. I finished it on my way back. Very interesting and enjoyable reading.

Tell us a little about yourself. I am a freelance writer and speaker who has authored several nonfiction books. My husband and I conduct marriage seminars based on our book, Marriage with an Attitude. My byline has appeared in magazines such as Marriage Partnership, Mature Living, On Mission, Christian Home & School, and Light & Life. I am a frequent contributor to Discipleship Journal who first published my article, "When God Calls Your Child Into Fulltime Missions." My novel, Journey to Judah is based on my daughter's love story and is Book One in the Born for India trilogy.
What was your motivation behind this project? My daughter's love story was the initial seed; the rest is totally fiction. I was so impressed by the way God provided Rachel's "Boaz" clear around the world that I had to write about it. I just didn't imagine that it would be in fiction format!
What do you hope folks will gain from this project? I want folks to know that following the Lord is not a step to fear, but a fulfilling journey on which He proves to be a faithful Lover, provider, and protector. With this assurance, I hope folks will discover the special journey God has for them as well.
How were you personally impacted by working on this project? My faith got a shot in the arm as I watched the Lord lovingly pick up a young man in Washington State, take him to India to meet my single daughter, and then marry her in 2005 and return to India as a couple in 2006. It was truly a love story written by God. The Lord deepened my assurance in Ps. 84:11 which says, "The Lord is a sun and shield; He gives grace and glory; no good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly."
Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists? My particular influence on this project was the Bible study guide titled, A Lady in Waiting. About the time Rachel was introduced to Nathan, my small group was studying this guide based on the story of Ruth. As I thought about the similarities between Ruth and Rachel, a story began to emerge. I woke up one morning with the title for my novel: Journey to Judah.
Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know: Journey to Judah is packed with action, adventure, and romance. If you like a great love story, this book is for you. Book Two, Restored Hearts, and Book Three, Chosen Ones to follow shortly.
