Mongolia is one of the coldest countries in the world. The majority of men are alcoholics, causing violent behavior and disrupting family life. Hanneke now lives in Mongolia, giving of herself to those who need it most. She has left everything behind to pursue her calling and journey into the unknown.
That unknown brought her into direct contact with struggling and broken lives. We live with her through moments of great triumph as well as heartbreaking failure. One viewer describes it as "an experience of humanity at its most basic level."

Gene Eaton5 Stars Out Of 5March 12, 2008Gene EatonThis testimonial movie was both inspiring and shocking. Shocking because I didn't realize the landscape of Mongolia was so barren (there are no trees). I didn't realize traveling from village to village was over dirt paths instead of paved roads. And cold...it appeared that many homes didn't have heat.To see Dr. Haneke work in Mongolia sharing the gospel with villagers that had never heard truly inspired. To see her arrange for a child to stand under hot water that comes out the ceiling (a shower)humbled me with thankfulness for our luxuries. Some feel that missionaries are truly God's superstars. Dr. Haneke is a stellar example why this is so.
