After an unfortunate tangle with a clothesline, Bob the Tomato and a van load of Veggie kids find themselves waiting for a tow truck in a rundown seafood joint. They run into the Pirates Who Don't Do Anything. They begin to tell the gang an unusual story about a messenger called Jonah. One day Jonah receives a message from God for the Ninevites, but Jonah hates the people of Nineveh. Not only do they lie and steal, worst of all, they slap people with fishes! Instead of delivering the message, Jonah decides to set sail in the opposite direction. But he doesn't get very far - God has a very persuasive way of convincing Jonah to do his job. In typical, hilarious Veggie style, this retelling of a familiar story teaches the deeper lesson: that one of the best gifts your can give or receive is a second chance.

This DVD is amazing! You won't regret if you buy it. The story is about Jonah and his second chance. The result of this movie is that God gives us a second chance and also we can give other people a second chance too.

The Veggie Tales products always delight the youngsters but provide entertainment for the adults as well (while teaching God's love and lessons for living with others). I've now bought several sets for grandchildren. Love them.

I bought this for my grandchild and both my daughter and grandchild love this DVD. Also, my daughter was very positively influenced by the message of the movie. This is a great gift to give to people who don't know much about the stories of the Bible and their great messages.

My children have enjoyed the Veggie Tale characters for almost 7 years. The movie, Jonah, has been fun to watch and explains to children the importance of following the Lord's commands the first time. The movie also teaches that everyone is worthy of grace.
