Singer/Songwriter Jill Paquette is the newest addition to the Reunion Records family. Paquette's self-titled debut is like a tour of an art gallery full of diverse images, guiding you through a unique collection of songs that capture the imagination.
Born in British Columbia, Canada, with French-Canadian, European and Native American roots, Jill began training in classical piano at the age of three, learning to play by ear. The transition from classical piano to acoustic guitar at the age of 16 breathed new life into her love of music. While she composes on both the guitar and and piano, Jill notes, "the acoustic guitar is easily one of the coolest instruments in the world. When I started playing that, it just felt like home."
Produced by Steve Rendall in Canada and Phil Madeira in Nashville, this buzz-worthy disc addresses subjects that are personal to the songwriter but at the same time the themes are so universal the songs could be telling your story or mine. Paquette speaks softly but sings with a passion that is both powerful and delicate, vulnerable and strong.

Jill has the most amazing way of expressing herself in simple truth and helping those of us who struggle with remembering God's Grace in our daily lives. We all need to remember that we are Forgiven Sinners!

I can't stop listening to this one. It has the creativity of Sheryl Crow with the message of Jennifer Knapp. I'm probably not exactly in Jill's demographic, but she hit this pastor's heart with equal degrees of style, freshness and creativity.

Jill Paquette is the most refreshing new artist out there! I'm soooo excited about her debut! She is such a talented musician....I CAN'T STOP LISTENING TO HER CD!!! My favorite tracks are the last two (if I absolutely had to pick). YOU MUST BUY IT TODAY...YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED!
