Chad Clements5 Stars Out Of 5September 15, 2009Chad Clementsfantastic book so far. It gives a detailed outlook of sources, Biblical and non-Biblical of Jesus as well as a fairly detailed outlook of his life. Really easy read, good for advanced and beginner and everyone in between who truly want to know more about Jesus Christ.
Sandi Smith3 Stars Out Of 5July 31, 2009Sandi SmithI ordered this book for a college class I am taking. It is not quite what I would have expected for a college text. Stein seems to put too much emphasis on the extrabiblical sources and not enough on the Scripture. He also spends too much time discussing all of the other points of view rather than just getting to the point of what he wants to get across.
Q: is this the 1st edition?
Yes, this is the first edition, but it is copyrighted as of 1996.
