Jesus Comes to Me is offered as a help in forming the child's mind and heart for that great event, first holy Communion. While it can be used by the teacher in the formal instructions given before the child's first holy Communion, it is less structured than a manual and is meant more for use by a parent or grandparent or someone else in the home who is supplementing the teacher's instruction in the classroom.

This booklet helps prepare children in the primary grades (grades 1-3) to receive their first Eucharist. Can be used as a supplement to formal classroom preparation or shared with the child before the school lessons begin.
