This book of devotionals has been a blessing. The author uses scriptures to remind us of how precious we are to Jesus and the good plans and promises that He has for us as believers. It had been recommended to me, and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to meditate on Him and draw closer to the Lord.
This is a great devotional. I have enjoyed it very much. The physical characteristics of the book such as the cover, binding and paper are of good durable quality. The devotions themselves I find to be most encouraging. I look forward to reading it each day and will probably continue to do so year after year.
Let me begin by saying that I am a reasonable and reasoning person, who is open minded enough to change my views when necessary. However, I must say that there are an increasing number of so-called Christian books out today that have little or no Biblical substance, and some, like this one, that has the appearance of being Biblical. Let me explain. This book claims to be the personal revelation, by God, to the author. It is transcribed automatically, from God by revelation, to the author, then printed for all the world to share. There are two problems with this. First, the Bible warns in Revelation that no one should add to the Book He has revealed to us. Second, it is given to the author through automatic writing, which is an occult phenomenon. I realize that the book is very popular, but please exercise restraint when stocking the library of your mind. Just because something is popular does not make it correct.
