Although Ravi Zacharias is a fine apologist, I cannot agree that he is the best philosophical apologist in the world, as a previous reviewer stated. Many of his arguments are not even strictly rational ones, but ones that appeal to the intuition and the emotion, and other subjective aspects of thinking. In contrast I submit that the best living apologist is probably Vincent Cheung. His strictly rational and biblical approach is unrivaled and invincible. I recommend reading his PRESUPPOSITIONAL CONFRONTATIONS and ULTIMATE QUESTIONS, available from his web site. Also, try Bahnsen's ALWAYS READY, available here at

Ravi Zacharias is possibly the finest philosophical Christian apologist in the world, and after reading this book, I believe most people would agree with me.The chapter answering the question, "Is God the Source of My Suffering?" is possibly the most thorough, comprehensive response I've ever encountered to this question, and is a must-read for any and all Christians!

Ravi Zacharias has both an excellent mind and a profound love for Jesus Christ. JESUS AMONG OTHER GODS requires concentrated, focused reading but it is well worth it. If you can possibly see the accompanying video, the visuals of followers of Eastern religions have wonderful impact. He places Jesus in the context of this very troubled, complex world. One of the very best books I have ever read (and I'm 65!) As I read, I had to work, but I wanted to comprehend what was in this man's mind. It was worth it.
