This is an interesting, funny, and thought-provoking book. Enjoyed it very much. Unfortunately, the included DVD would not play.

This book, with its study guide, really challenges the reader to delve deeper into what they believe and forces the reader to abandon Christian cliches and examine life and the many ways in which God can work. It is great to have a study guide at the back of the book with probing questions and also a DVD of a sermon by Donald Miller, giving the reader further insight into the heart of the author. The book is refreshing and I feel that many people will benefit from Miller's real and down-to-earth writing style.

I thought this book was boring. Heard so much good about it, so I got it, and didn't like it at all. It dragged, the guy didn't make sense half the time, and was always talking about smoking his pipe - a big turn off for me, as Christians shouldn't smoke anything
