Author Bio

Andrew T. Le Peau is editorial director of InterVarsity Press where he has worked since 1975. Before that he was a campus staff member for InterVarsity Christian Fellowship (IVCF), serving in the St. Louis area. He is the coauthor of several Bible study guides including and in the LifeGuide Bible Study series and the author of He is also founder of the Christian Book Editors Conference, now part of Publishing University, run by the Evangelical Christian Publishers Association. Phyllis Le Peau is an area director for InterVarsity Christian Fellowship serving in the Chicago metro area. She is also the author of several Bible study guides published by InterVarsity Press and Zondervan.

Best study we have done. This is my favorite study out of the ones my Bible study group has done. James is so blunt, but gives us such practical advice God wants us to follow. It has also been the best study for rich and meaningful discussion. May 7, 2013

Good resource book for teenagers feeling troubled or lost. This book shows them to keep their faith in God and steadfast in his word and he will carry them through whatever it is they are going through. August 30, 2010

Our group is really enjoying this study. We don't try to rush thru the questions so we can get thru each lesson. There is so much to learn with each question. It helps us to evaluate our daily walk with the Lord and how to deal with people when things just aren't going well and how to act in those situations. God Bless Pauline September 21, 2009
