wingsofpeace5 Stars Out Of 5I love this book!February 2, 2015wingsofpeaceQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5Years ago my oldest did Getty Dubay handwriting and I thought it much improved his writing. I had since forgotten it. We have tried several other curriculums with my younger children and not had much success. My younger son is in 1st grade, but was very under-developed when it came to handwriting, so i started him at the beginning with Book A. It's only been a few weeks, he's halfway through the book and I'm thoroughly impressed! I cannot believe how much he's improved.
He's improved so much that I'm going to purchase this handwriting for my 3rd grader whose been doing D'Nealian Cursive. Her handwriting is just ok. Her cursive is far more advanced than her manuscript, though it's not wonderful. Her 1st grader brothers' manuscript is now way more advanced than hers. So, we are switching gears for her as well and I expect to see improvement after she unlearns some bad habits. -

Jen143Buffalo, NYAge: 35-44Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5Italics makes it easierNovember 8, 2010Jen143Buffalo, NYAge: 35-44Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5My youngest child is starting his homeschool adventure learning Italics handwriting, like his three older siblings. I like this workbook because it doesn't show two different types of handwriting but uses one way and then connectors to make it italics cursive. There is a lot of practice and the instructions are simple. I've greatly enjoyed using Italics handwriting as my children's forum in to writing.
