Intimacy Ignited contains a verse-by-verse study of Song of Solomon. The object of the book is to help couples learn from the Scripture how to apply what is within to their relationship. Another interesting feature is that at the end of each chapter there is a short prayer the couple or person reading the book can say.
Once finished with the book there is a section in the back that will take the couple on a thirty day Bible study if they desire a deeper understanding of how they can grow in there relationship with Christ and one another. Overall it keeps with the Biblical text while accurately portraying how one should live with a servant's heart.
I found the book to be a very easy read. It was not too difficult to understand and it presented the Song of Solomon in a godly manner and with respect to the cultural context itself. I felt it effectively was able to show how in Christ couples should act toward one another. In so far as that it is a book for couples, I would not suggest it for those who are young or not yet to be engaged. Though I would love to see a book as such as Intimacy Ignited for those who have yet to be married.

This book was a God send to me as a woman and also to my relationship. This is a book that I can feel comfortable displaying on my bookshelf and having others see it in my collection.

This is a must-read for all couples, whether their newlyweds or married for decades. The Dillow and Pintus couples did a fantastic job in writing a book that is reverent to Scripture, exciting, and humurous. Read this with your spouse!
