The Interlinear Hebrew-Greek-English Bible, One-Volume Edition

This is the only complete interlinear Bible available in English and is also on one convenient volume. This interlinear is keyed to Strong's Exhaustive Concordance. Interlinears are a time-saving tool for you to research the subtle nuances and layers of meaning within the original biblical languages and this one features the complete Hebrew and Greek texts with a direct English rendering below each word, and it also includes The Literal Translation of the Bible in the outside column. Strong's numbers are printed directly above the Hebrew and Greek words which enables you to easily access a wealth of language reference works that are also keyed to Strong's such as Greek/Hebrew dictionaries, analytical lexicons, concordances, word studies, and more even if you do not know Greek and Hebrew. The Hebrew is based on the Masoretic Text and the Greek is from the Textus Receptus. The sources of the texts are documented in the preface, and are essentially the same (with some minor variations) to the Hebrew and Greek texts used by the KJV translators.

This is probably the best "study Bible" there is. You don't get commentary of what other people think. You get straight Scripture in English and Hebrew/Greek with the Strong's numbers for each word. How Great is That!!!!

This product was about what we expected. Yes, the print is very small but it was so much less expensive than the 4-volume soft cover edition, it was worth the inconvenience of needing a magnifier. The price, the hardcover and the fact it is all in one volume are positives. I like the literal translation too.

This review mainly deals with the Layout of the Interlinear terms. To begin, I am neither a Hebrew nor Greek scholar so I rely on Stong’s numbers as much as possible. I am used to the PC Study Bible Software (Interlinear Transliterated Bible by Biblesoft, Inc.) where the layout of all the interlinear information is centered under each other i.e. original text, pronunciation, Strong’s Number etc…. All of the information for the original term is centered and makes it easy to follow. What goes with what etc… I purchased the The Interlinear Hebrew-Greek-English Bible, One-Volume Edition by Jay P. Green because it is a One Volume set (very convenient for travel). The small print did not bother me much, but the information is not always lined up (as described above) which makes it harder to follow. I returned the One Volume set and got the Four Volume set instead The Interlinear Hebrew/Greek-English Bible, 4 Volumes by Jay P. Green. The layout is much better and easier to follow. In conclusion: If you are familiar with the Hebrew and Greek languages etc… and can read them, then I recommend the One Volume set with the small print (once again –convenience). If you are not familiar with the Hebrew and Greek languages etc… and cannot read them, then I recommend the Four Volume set.

if you ever wanted to see the orginal manuscripts in book form you should get this bible. i use it for clarification and for accuracy, and the coded strongs numbers help you with the understanding of those words

I have been a satisfied customer for over 24 years, and I have never had a bad purchase until this one. I had been very excited about this Bible because I enjoy the research of the original texts, however after recieving the Bible I could not read the very tiny font! I do not have eye problems but the text font for the English was so small even my teen son said he would need a magnifying glass to read the print. Please, in the future state the font size of the type for your Bibles and other texts so that there are no "surprises" by the buyer.
