Entire four-volume set in one-volume!
The only complete interlinear Bible available in Englishand its keyed to Strongs Exhaustive Concordance! Thousands of pastors, students, and laypeople have found The Interlinear Bible to be a time-saving tool for researching the subtle nuances and layers of meaning within the original biblical languages. Featuring the complete Hebrew and Greek texts with a direct English rendering below each word, it also includes The Literal Translation of the Bible in the outside column. But what truly sets this resource apart are the Strongs numbers printed directly above the Hebrew and Greek words. Strongs numbers enable even those with no prior knowledge of Greek or Hebrew to easily access a wealth of language reference works keyed to StrongsGreek/Hebrew dictionaries, analytical lexicons, concordances, word studies, and more.
The Hebrew is based on the Masoretic Text and the Greek is from the Textus Receptus. The sources of the texts are documented in the preface, and are essentially the same (with some minor variations) to the Hebrew and Greek texts used by the KJV translators.
Only a small minority of Bible students ever achieve the ability to read the original biblical languages. This resource offers a non-threatening tool for those lacking language training to begin exploring the languages of Scripture.
• Conveniently includes the entire Hebrew and Greek text of the Bible in one place
• Offering a concise, literal translation of each Greek and Hebrew word, its a great jumping off point for in-depth Bible study and text analysis.
• How large is the type?
Jay5 Stars Out Of 5Great toolSeptember 12, 2015JayQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5It is an awesome Bible, excellent for seeing the name of the Lord in its original form (YHVH). It's great for the student of Hebrew and Greek and for the preacher willing to dive deeper in scripture
Pi Man5 Stars Out Of 5Excellent ReferenceAugust 11, 2015Pi ManQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5A wonderful reference book that allows one to gain a deeper understanding of the Word of God.
bibleman5 Stars Out Of 5Excellent Study Tool!June 30, 2015biblemanQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I love this bible, it has helped me with all of my studies! The font is somewhat small but with normal vision you shouldn't have any problems reading. For those people that their eye site is not that good I would recommend a magnifying glass to help! The copy that I have I don't find the print fuzzy as some people have said. I would definately recommend this to anyone looking for a deeper understanding of God's word, much better than a keyword hebrew/greek bible!
BobbyAge: 55-65Gender: male2 Stars Out Of 5too tiny printMarch 12, 2015BobbyAge: 55-65Gender: maleQuality: 2Value: 2Meets Expectations: 2The print is too small and the print/ink quality is poor! With the print being so small the print should have at least been sharp, but instead it's thick and fuzzy! I also noticed in one of the new testament chapters they stopped mid sentence leaving out half the sentence and the rest of the paragraph which is just poor editing. But even that is not the deal breaker, it's the very small print, I can't stress that enough. It's just not something enjoyable to pick up and read. Also with the 4 volumes cramped into one, it's awefully heavy. I'm actually looking for something else to replace it with a larger font.
chrisscarlet2 Stars Out Of 5Tiny writing, bad ink densityMarch 9, 2015chrisscarletQuality: 3Value: 3Meets Expectations: 2This is a good book BUT the font is WAY too small for it to be user friendly or easy to enjoy. The description should have stated that it was in such a small font cause it is TINY!! So much so that we actually ordered something to replace it, while sadly it sits on it's shelf virtually unused. Also the density of the ink is off. DEFINITELY would NOT recommend, not even to those with perfect vision!
Q: Best strong concordance to use with this? The( interliner bible hebrew greek english translations)
Any Strong's Concordance can be used with this Interlinear.
Q: Does the English text use old English as in the KJV
No, this is not translated into King James English, but is the most literal translation of the original texts available, which would necessitate not using outdated words, such as verily and thou.
Q: Esther 2:5 what does it state in jp green interlinear bible? in the jp green interlinear bible Esther 2:5 what does it state in English?
In this book, Esther 2:5 reads, "In Shushan the palace there was a certain Jew, and his name was Mordecai, the son of Jair, the son of Shamei, the son of Kish, a Benjamite..."
Q: What is font size of text of literal translation, it looks very small ?
The font size is 6 point or less.
Q: What version of the Bible is used for the English text in The Interlinear Hebrew-Greek-English Bible, One-Volume Edition
The English text is not any particular translation but is taken from the same original texts the KJV was derived from with the English wording, as much as possible, a literal translation of those texts. Because of differing grammatical rules, the transliteration located under the original text has been rearranged in order to make the literal translation paragraphing more readable.
