Infant Baptism: What Christian Parents Should Know 3 5 2 2

I gave this book one star simply because it is a book. As far as the book itself, it is very short and concise. The problem with the book is that it is completely unbiblical. Nowhere in this book does Sartelle even remotely give a Biblical defense for infant baptism. As a matter of fact, the only thing that he does well is pull Scripture out of context to try and prove a point that is not found in Scripture. If you are looking for a book on the defense of infant baptism, or the Biblical grounds for infant baptism, I would look somewhere else, and save my money. May 5, 2008

For a short concise explanation as well as a defense of infant baptism with heart, this is the best I have read so far. John Sartelle has done a service to the church by giving us a simple to read, easy to understand treatise from a pastoral perspective without being over simplistic. October 18, 2007
