I finished reading this book a few weeks ago and I must say, of all the books I've read for the Blogging for Books program, this may have been may favorite. Indivisible was a great read! This book had it all for me. An element of romance, suspense, faith and mystery. I found myself drawn to several characters and each for different reasons. Tia and Jonah were my favorites both for the people they were and for the strongholds they were each battling in their own lives. I also liked Miles. At first you want to find him kind of creepy and scary but the more you get to know and understand him you come to love him just as Piper does in the story. With this book I ended up with dog eared pages, notes and underlining because not only was it a good read, it had a good message and that is one of the reasons I most love Christian fiction. It is entertaining but it also encourages and helps me in my faith by drawing me into the Christian walk of the characters. I found myself checking out the Internet to see what other Kristen Heitzmann titles I might like to read next!

If you're looking for classic Kristen Heitzmann, you won't find it here. Darker and edgier than her other works, this crime drama is not for the faint of heart. As Police Chief Jonah Westfall looks into animal mutilation, rising drug traffic, and his past, he finds that things are not always what they seem.

This suspense novel was well-written and kept me guessing, but it was not as purely enjoyable as Heitzmann's other novels. It somehow felt odd. Having said that, it did get better as it went along and I was just curious enough to want to know what happened. Fans of the TV series Criminal Minds might like it for its psychological thriller feel.

I read this book after I read "Indelible" so I was at a little bit ahead of the game since I basically already new what was going to happen to the characters. I did like getting to know these characters a little bit better since they were all in "Indelible". It was nice to see how the relationship between Piper and Miles started. I enjoyed reading it although the drug dealers part of the story was a little confusing to me and seemed to be a bit disjointed.

Chief of Police Jonah Westfall is puzzled over 2 raccoons found with limbs cut off, with the two then sewn together where the limbs were cut. Later, two cats were found in the same area, same thing had happened to them. Why would someone do this to innocent animals? With this, and Westfall's issues with Tia Manning, things are getting difficult for Westfall. The two cannot get over their not so good past, and keep hurting one another as time goes by. Something has got to happen. And Westfall needs to find out who is attacking these animals. And why.

This is a good action fiction thriller that keeps you turning the page until the end. It has several twists and turns and it's difficult to figure out what the outcome is. The author created unique characters and intertwined them in the story, giving you a feel that you were part of the action. I like her style of writing, mixing mystery, suspense, a few gruesome scenes, and excitement until the end. Grab a copy of this book by Kristen Heitzmann and settle in for a good read.

This book could be categorized as a romance novel, mystery, or psychological thriller. Its a story of hurting hearts and redemptive lives, but wrapped in a package of a quaint Colorado town full of drugs and intrigue. Police Chief Jonah Westfall is trying to fix a broken relationship, take down a drug ring and solve a mystery of disturbing proportions.

I have read a few of Kristen Heitzmann's books and was excited to read a new one, but was slightly disappointed in this one. It took me awhile to get into it because there are so many characters that she introduces at the beginning so it was hard to keep up. This book also had less of a spiritual side then some of her other books. But, once I got into the story it was hard to put down. And the ending was creative and relieving yet dark and sad. I was content with how all the characters I finally got to know finished their stories.
