Plunge into the Apocrypha and immerse yourself in the histories, romances, devotional works, proverbs, and sermons from the intertestamental period. Based on the Common English Bible, deSilva's 8-lesson study sheds fresh light on the apocryphal books and will help you more deeply engage with them as you explore the emotional, spiritual, and intellectual facets of Scripture.
Journey inside the pages of Scripture to meet a personal God who enters individual lives and begins a creative work from the inside out. Shaped with the individual in mind, Immersion Bible Studies encourage simultaneous engagement both with the Word of God and with the God of the Word to become a new creation in Christ. Immersion Bible Studies, inspired by a fresh translation--the Common English Bible--stand firmly on Scripture and help readers explore the emotional, spiritual, and intellectual needs of their personal faith. More importantly, theyll be able to discover Gods revelation through readings and reflections.
