Product Description

Sometimes kids can have a hard time discussing and describing their feelings and emotions, but this book is an excellent way to have your children begin to talk about their own feelings. I'm Not Happy goes through a series of situations in which the child is not happy; these situations are ones that your child will relate to and will help to bridge the gap in discussing how they would react in a given situation. Included in the back is a series of pictures that invite kids to use their own words to describe the story.

Our Emotions and Behavior series
The Our Emotions and Behavior series uses cheerful brightly illustrated stories to help kids understand how their emotions and actions are related—and how they can learn to manage both. At the end of each book, a two-page series of pictures invites kids to tell a story in their own words. A special section for adults suggests discussion questions and ideas for guiding children to talk about their feelings.
