These Bibles were purchased for youth of the parish of St Anthony in Gwinn, MI, thanks to a grant from the Marquette diocesan Legacy of Faith Foundation. The youngsters were over awed by the beauty of the volumes and the convenience of their size. They will be taking their Bibles with them on their journey to DC for the March for Life.
I own one of these bibles and I literally carry it with me wherever I go, because it is small enough to fit into the same bag as my daily scheduler. As noted by other reviewers, the print is TINY, however, in good light and wearing my glasses I can read it without strain. (Please note that I am positively NOT a spring chicken!) CBD has a host of dandy magnifiers available at prices that match the miniscule size of this bible. I carry one of those tucked into the little bible. It serves two purposes: magnification, if I need it in poor light, and as page marker. If you need a small, serviceable, Catholic version of the RSV, I can heartily recommend this dandy, little bible.
Great size for a travel Bible (which is why I purchased it!) Great for tucking in my travel kit and for saying the Daily Office on the run. RSV is such a wonderful, readable version. The typeface/font is really tiny, I can read it without my glasses, but just barely, and the light has to be just right. I was surprised to find that it did NOT come with a "silk ribbon marker" as advertized. It's well made overall and should last a long time!
