This gorgeous picture book is perfect for horse lovers big and smalland for mothers in need of a good bedtime story.
As a child, Jane was crazy about horses, though she knew only the ones who drew the hansom cabs in New York Citys Central Park. But once her family moved to Connecticut, she got her chance to ride Lipizzaners, the great white "airs aboveground" horses. She has never forgotten the feeling of riding such powerful, beautiful, and well-trained steeds.
Jane now lives in Hatfield, Massachusetts.
