Val NK5 Stars Out Of 5July 8, 2009Val NKIt is always refreshing to come accross a book that is a trendsetter for a particular season and this book "Humility and the Honor of God" is such a book. This book is timely and addresses an issue that hold many in bondage today. The author no doubt wrote from his own personal experience in a way that anyone who reads a copy and applies the principles will be changed for the better. My suggestion, "you must read the book."
Charlie Moore4 Stars Out Of 5June 13, 2009Charlie MooreI enjoyed this book from cover to cover. If one applied the revelation knowledge of this book in their lives , it would definitely bring about change. Change to the likeness of Jesus Christ.Afterall, this is the goal of His Body, to be more like Him each day. Thanks Sheldon, and may God richly bless you for seeking His face. For in seeking His face, you have the annointing of our Heavenly Father. The annointing that sets the captives free !!!
Jeff Evans5 Stars Out Of 5May 27, 2009Jeff EvansAs one of the first to read this book, I am extremely blessed to rave about the awesome revelations, contained therein. As a personal acquaintance of the Author, this work came alive in my heart as it met me at a point that God needed to speak to me and steer me in a direction that only he could.I read this book in a little over 3 days and recommend it because of it's simplicity but profound truths that are practical for these exciting times. In every generation, a remnant arises that speaks and captures the attention of it's hearers. "Humility and the honour of God" is that voice and Jehovah will use it to transform the lives of many.
Jackie D.4 Stars Out Of 5May 20, 2009Jackie D.This book was timely for me personally, as it caused much introspection. As a graduate student, I participated in many discussions about the difficulties that are experienced in the work place such as people putting others down because they do not met their standards. This book caused me to make an attitude adjustment toward people because I love God. It stated that humility is a condition of the heart. As a man thinketh in his heart so is he, therefore, if you think you are superior you will behave superior. If you are not sure if your attitude is humble, you should read this book. If you are struggling with humility, you should read this book. If you are aspiring to climb the ladder of success or already supervise or manage employees, you should read this book. It will change your heart and your life and your organization and department will be the better for it.

Tell us a little about yourself. My name is Bishop Sheldon Newton. I am the Senior Pastor of Jesus Christ Centered Ministries International, located in Nassau, Bahamas. I am a born again believer in Jesus Christ. I have been involved in the ministry of the Lord Jesus Christ for over twenty five years. My wife's name is Pastor Jennifer Newton and we have two children, Sheldon Jr. and Jasma Jenaris. We love God and love serving and helping His people.
What was your motivation behind this project? My motivation behind writing this book was both an inward conviction to do so by the Holy Spirit and an outward observance concerning many who need to understand and stay focused upon the truth that we need God and we need each other. Humility is the key to everything God has for us. Humility is the key to godly promotion. Therefore it is a must in the lives of believers. I also wanted to give a clear understanding of what true and godly humility is. There is so much misinformation about it.
What do you hope folks will gain from this project? I trust that we will really see how much we are dependent upon God in order to really be all we can be, accomplish all we are capable of doing and have the favors, blessings, anointing, power and provisions of God that come no other way than through that spiritual force called humility.
How were you personally impacted by working on this project? The message of this book revealed areas of pride in my own life that I had to allow God to strip away from me by the Power of His Word. Also, I have now started experiencing more of God's favor and blessings, by applying the principles found in this book.
Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists? There are various people who have imparted the wisdom of God's Word to me over the years through their books and audio messages, such as, Dr. Myles Munroe, Creflo A. Dollar, Bishop T. D. Jakes, Kenneth & Gloria Copeland, Jerry Savelle, Joyce Meyer, Pastor Richard Pinder, Bishop Neil Ellis, Pastor John Haggae, John Maxwell and others. Some of these people I have not met as yet. Some I have. Nonetheless, their books and audio messages have blessed me greatly. I thank God for everyone of them.
Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know: I would love for everyone to know how wonderful Jesus is and that this book is written for the very purpose of drawing us more and more into a real and intimate relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. This book is about Him and our need of Him, not just in theory, but in reality and practically. May it be a blessing and a real encouragement to those who read it and apply its message to their lives.
