Homeschool Specialists' Review
There are hidden treasures in these books about our Christian ancestors. They tell tales that build our faith by revealing God at work in the lives of people who placed their trust in him! They are testimonies to how God will work through both ordinary and extraordinary people alike. They celebrate the type of courageous, dedicated, and godly heroes we want our children to admire.
Little pieces of the stories bring back the fondest memories of our homeschool days. I found these books personally faith-building, and I know they have helped shape my children's faith as well. Approx. 200 pages each, softcovers from YWAM.

The Benges do such a beautiful job of weaving in facts with a story that is easily understood for young and old alike. If we all had the unwavering faith, as Hudson Taylor did, then the Christian church would be unstoppable. We walked away as a family challenged to taste, as Hudson did, and see that the Lord is good! Wonderful missions series without the denominational slants found in many missions books!

Mavis Sherrard-griffith5 Stars Out Of 5May 12, 2010Mavis Sherrard-griffithI started reading this book on a train journey from Melbourne to Sydney. I travelled by day so as to view the countryside. Once I opened the book I could not put it down so therefore saw little of the views from the window of the fast moving train. The book makes one feel humble in reading how this man loved his Lord and put his life in his hands to serve him and to bring people to salvation.I will read this book over and over again. Loved every page and have bought more books on the life of this very humble and gracious missionary,Hudson Taylor. Thank you for writing the book for all of us to know about him.
