Christianbook.com announces the purchase of DiscountChristian.com

Peabody, Massachusetts (May 5, 2008):   Ray Hendrickson, President of Christianbook.com, today announces the purchase of DiscountChristian.com, a California-based Christian Internet retailer specializing in Bible Software and Home School Curriculum. DiscountChristian.com sells a complete line of Christian software, including Bible Study Programs and Reference Works from top publishers such as Logos, Quickverse, Biblesoft, Wordsearch, Zondervan, and many others. Their Home School Curriculum line features Alpha Omega Publications, Saxon Math, Shurley English, BJU Press, Apologia, and others.  As part of the transition, the California offices of DiscountChristian.com will close. 

Ray Hendrickson states, “Although Christianbook.com has its own extensive and very successful Christian software and Home School Curriculum product lines, the acquisition of DiscountChristian.com will allow us to further expand our customer base.  Individually, Christianbook.com and DiscountChristian.com have developed excellent websites that offer customers the best products in the Christian marketplace.  We look forward to welcoming existing DiscountChristian.com customers, and to introducing them to our entire Christian product line of over 230,000 items where customers can buy ‘Everything Christian for Less’.”
