If your looking for a great daily devotional with spiritual meat, this is it! Mr. Spurgeon's eloquence, love of the Lord, and plain "old preaching" will get you going during the day, and to settle you in the evening! Enjoy!

This devotional is very comprehensive, and relevant. I have been using Oswald Chambers "My Upmost for His Highest" for quite a few years. Now I am adding this book to help me recieve more biblical guidance on a daily basis.

Very uplifting...Spurgeon is one of the greatest writers I have ever read. He takes you through each day with a better understanding of who you are and who you ought to be. I recommend this book to everyone who loves to read about God's promises.

I had a little book of excerpts and enjoyed it so much that I ordered the book. This is an excellent devotional. Spurgeon's prose is intimate and thought provoking.
