I was disappointed with the ending. The Aunt and Uncle of Sim (the runaway) were inserted at the end, and the ease with which their divorce was assumed was disconcerting. The divorce was just assumed to be the right thing. I found this to be disconcerting after the entire book was about WAITNG on God for His direction, yet the end has a character added that just seemingly goes and does what looks to be the obvious way out. It just left a bad taste in my mouth. I bought this for our church library and I don't think I will add it. For a good read that deals with divorce check out "Jumping In Sunset" by Dawn Ringling.

GREAT BOOK! Couldn't put it down! I was impressed by the ease Nancy Moser enables the reader to truly be in the story with her characters through descriptions and personal touches. I know that I have often wondered what God's purpose is for my life and this book added a new perspective for waiting patiently for His time to unfold ... to simply "be still and know". (only complaint ... ending seemed a bit weak to me considering the power of the earlier pages)Write a review of A Steadfast Surrender, Steadfast Series #1
