Christian Book Distributors announces the purchase of Best to You.

Peabody, Massachusetts (December 4, 2006):   Ray Hendrickson, President of Christian Book Distributors (CBD), today announces the purchase of Best to You, a Colorado based Christian catalog and internet gift retailer, formerly a division of Cook Communication Ministries.  The transaction is expected to close on January 2, 2007.  Best to You has been in business for over 25 years selling Christian based gift items and home accessories, developing many proprietary products available only through Best to You.

As part of the transition, the Colorado offices of Best to You will close, and some senior members of the staff will join CBD on a consulting basis.  Ray Hendrickson states “Although CBD has had its own extensive, and very successful Gift and Home product line for ten years, including many CBD exclusive products, the acquisition of Best to You will allow us to take the best attributes of each company’s individual catalog and product offering and develop one line that continues the emerging strength in the Christian gift product line.  We have admired the Best to You business for many years, and have felt that the company would be a good strategic fit for CBD”.
