Biblical linguist William Mounce and skilled expositor and Bible translator Robert Mounce offer an interlinear translation of particular accuracy and beauty. The Greek text is based upon a compilation of the UBS (same as the NA27), TNIV Greek text (not publicly available), the NET Bible, and the TR, Textus Receptus (the Greek textual tradition behind the King James Version).  In this unique interlinear,  the first line follows the word order of the Greek text. The second  line is a new translation done by Robert Mounce which follows word order, but contrary to normal practice, the same Greek word is not always translated with the same English word. The third line contains the Goodrick/Kohlenberger numbers for the word. The fourth line parses the word indicating case, number, and gender of the noun, and person, number, tense, voice, and mood of each verb. An updated Greek dictionary (as featured in Mounce’s Complete Expository Dictionary of Old and New Testament Words) is included at the back of the book.
