"Yet he gave a command to the skies above and opened the doors of the heavens; he rained down manna for the people to eat, he gave them the grain of heaven. " - (Psalm 78:23–24)

Are you afraid of the future? Do you wonder how in the world you’re going to survive? Do you suppose the children of Israel felt that way, too? We’re told in the Scriptures that they were a worrying bunch. Did the Lord forsake them in all their worrying? Of course not. He was their Abba Father. He provided for them in a miraculous way. He sent manna. Scholars of today try to explain away manna, but the bottom line is that it was a miracle from God, specifically for his people at the time they needed it. If the Lord provided so dramatically for the children of Israel, will he do any less for you, dear child of God? He knows your worries. He is ready to care for all you material needs. Watch for his manna. Prayer focus for today: Conviction of conscious for false prophets.
