Most of us will never have to face death for our faith, but there are dangers in feeling too safe. For one thing, someone in a safe country never even thinks about martyrdom-personal martyrdom. We aren't prepared for it and have no idea how we would react to that type of danger.
What would you do if you had to renounce your faith in order to live? What would you do to keep your family alive? You can't make these decisions wisely and rationally when someone's pointing a gun at your head, and there won't be any change to your mind. Think about it now, while there's time--just in case.
