"MAY 6"

For Christ's love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all. - 2 CORINTHIANS 5:14

Life pulls us in a lot of directions, and sometimes we forget a few old things so we can remember the new. We only have so much time, effort, and attention to spare.
But how can you forget love? Once you're on your own, you'll soon realize how scarce love of any kind really is. The world's a cold, unfriendly place when no one loves you.
Yet we all have unbounded love, if we want it. Christ loved us so much He died for us. Every single one of us can be a new person because of His love, and that love is just as available to you now as it was to those living nearly two thousand years ago.
Maybe you could forget doctrine and prayers. Maybe you don't enjoy Bible study or the or closeness of others in congregation. Maybe you can live without hymns and ceremonies But how can you forget love?

Father, thank You for Your love, which is always there when I need it. Others may not be faithful in their love for me but You will never fail me.
