. A former teacher, she had always enjoyed attending annual teacher conferences where she would receive new ideas, encouragement, and further education. After realizing she would not be returning to the classroom, she began looking for conferences for women who decided to stay home and use their skills to nurture their families. Finding none in existence, she prayed with 8 other women in her local area about the possibility of starting such a group. Those prayers eventually evolved into Hearts at Home
, an organization committed to helping moms love their life. Today she speaks at a variety of events for mothers...moms who desire to become better educated and equipped for the profession of motherhood.
Jill is also a columnist with the Pantagraph newspaper in Illinois. She and her husband, Mark, a senior pastor, serve together in ministry within the church and through their family of five children.
