Meet Kathy Escobar

Kathy Escobar has been involved in ministry for more than 15 years. This pastor, speaker, and spiritual director currently serves as the copastor for an emerging church. While her church plant is committed to ministering to the hurting and marginalized, Kathy is personally committed to helping women get "unstuck" in their relationship with God and others. Having served as the associate care pastor for a 4,000 member congregation in Colorado, Kathy is sensitive to the spiritual development of others. She has served as a spiritual support team volunteer for groups like Safehouse Progressive Alliance for Nonviolence and for the Casa Dorcas Orphanage.

She is the coauthor of Come with Me: An Invitation to Break Through the Wall Between You and God. She is a member of the Pepperdine University Alumni Association, Christian Association for Psychological Studies, Christians for Biblical Equality, and Spiritual Directors International. She has a certificate in evangelical spiritual guidance from Denver Seminary and a masterís in management. She and her husband, Jose, and their five children, live in Arvada, Colorado.
