Meet Christopher P.N. Maselli
“My vision,” Chris says, “is to write imaginative stories that challenge children to live out their faith.”
Though writing was always a hobby for Chris during his child and teenage years, his published career was launched when he won a contest and began writing The Theology of Life, a bi-weekly devotional column for his college newspaper. Since then, he has completed multiple award-winning projects including an international children's magazine, tween novel series, teen devotionals and video scripts.
Chris regularly speaks at schools and bookstores, attends writers' conferences and participates in continuing education courses. An active member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators, Chris is a featured writer for Shout! magazine, Focus on the Family's Clubhouse and Clubhouse Jr magazines and more. His book Reality Shift was named “One of the 10 Best Books of 2002” by Crosswalk.com.
Chris lives in Fort Worth, Texas, with his wife, Gena, and their feline twins, Zoë and Zuzu. Chris is also a leader in his church's community program for kids, using stories, dramas and games to teach 100+ children weekly. His hobbies include inline skating, collecting It's a Wonderful Life movie memorabilia and “way too much" computing.
