Don Raunikar is the director of New Life Clinics in Houston, Texas, a psychotherapist specializing in relational issues, conference speaker and author. He also leads Christian singles seminars nationwide and oversees Lifehouse, a Christian home for young women experiencing crisis pregnancies.
Don received a degree in music from the University of Missouri in 1981. He then transferred to Mississippi State University, where he received both a master’s and doctorate in psychology. He was awarded several scholastic honors such as Graduate Student of the Year, being elected to Mississippi State University’s Hall of fame, and being listed in Who’s Who Among American Colleges and Universities. He put his music degree to use by producing contemporary Christian music, owning Christian bookstores, and singing in a Christian music group. He went on to word for the Rapha Treatment Centers as the clinical director and later assistant program director for the Psychiatric and Chemical Dependency Program. In 1993, he began his private practice as a psychotherapist but continued his association with the Rapha Treatment Centers.
His first book is entitled
Choosing God’s Best. In this book, he delves into the real issues Christian singles face today and offers sound, proven advice for creating godly, deeply satisfying relationships, while encouraging them on their path to choose God’s best for their lives.
Don and his wife, Kimberley, live in Houston, Texas. Some of Don’s hobbies include boating and skiing.
